When a Wise transfer completes
Reads the completed transfer with its amount, currency, recipient, and reference so the payment lands as a Well transaction ready to match.

Connect Wise so its record, owner, and timestamp become queryable in conversation and through your agents.
Wise feeds record, owner, timestamp into Well as a source. The connection is read-only; disconnect at any time from your workspace settings to revoke Wise’s access.

Reads the completed transfer with its amount, currency, recipient, and reference so the payment lands as a Well transaction ready to match.
Detects an incoming credit on a multi-currency balance and captures it as a transaction for reconciliation.
Captures a card spend with its merchant, amount, and currency so the expense is ready to match against a receipt.
Reads the outbound payout to a saved recipient with its amount and reference so the supplier payment lands in your records.
Connect Wise over API key: you generate a Wise key and paste it into Well, where it is stored encrypted at rest and never returned in responses.
Well brings record, owner, and timestamp in from Wise on a recurring poll that fetches only what changed since the last read. The first sync backfills history in the background and the connection stays live after.
Well resolves each Wise entity into graph node, team member, and audit entry, assigns categories, and links every record to an audit trail across the rest of your connected tools.
Your data from Wise lands in the workspace as graph node, team member, and audit entry you can search, chart, and automate.
Ask in plain language. Well answers from your connected Wise connection, resolved against the rest of your stack.
Ask anything about your Wise connection
Ask about your Wise connection…
Each one answers a question from live Wise data. The required ones return nothing until a source like it is connected.

Uses Wise when it is there
Connects and checks Wise
In Wise, generate an API key with the scopes Well lists in the trust section below. In Well's Connections > Wise, paste the key. Well validates it against Wise's API and confirms with a sample fetch.
Well brings record, owner, and timestamp from Wise into your workspace using the canonical mappings defined in Well's data-views layer.
Use what you bring in from Wise in conversation, records tables, or agent runs. Rotating the key in Wise requires updating the key in Well; nothing else.
Keys are never returned in API responses. Rotate freely; Well will prompt for the new key.
Well connects to Wise's MCP server (api.wellapp.ai/v1/mcps/wise/mcp) via the Model Context Protocol. The MCP server itself handles credential issuance through OAuth Dynamic Client Registration; Well never sees a long-lived Wise secret. Tokens are scoped to the record, owner, and timestamp Wise exposes and refreshed server-side. Reads only, Well cannot modify or delete Wise records.
Read Wise records
Resources the Wise MCP server exposes, scoped by your OAuth approval.
Resolve record, owner, and timestamp across your stack
Match identifiers in Wise against the same entities your other connected tools expose, so each record carries cross-tool context.
Modify or delete Wise records
Not granted; Wise is read-only in Well. Write-back is opt-in per connector when a write surface exists.
Read API keys from Wise's settings
Well only sees the keys you paste in. The keys never leave Well's secret store back to Wise's admin surface.
In Wise, generate an API key with read access (scoped to what's listed in the security section below). In Well, open Connections > Wise, paste the key, and save. Well validates the key against Wise's API and pulls a first sample as confirmation.
Well brings in record, owner, and timestamp from Wise and reshapes each entity into your workspace: record becomes graph node; owner becomes team member. Every record arrives with the source identifier preserved, so Wise stays the source of truth while Well lets you query the data alongside the rest of your stack.
Once Wise is connected, every record it exposes is queryable from conversation, filterable in records tables, and available to your agents through your workspace. The data stays linked to its Wise source, so you can always trace a workspace record back to the original.
Each Wise record is scored against the candidate graph nodes in your workspace on identifier overlap, amount or quantity match, date proximity, and counterparty resolution. Matches above the auto-link confidence threshold flow through cleanly; below the threshold they queue for a one-click human review, with the most likely graph node prefilled and the Wise source attached.
Well polls Wise regularly for record, owner, and timestamp. The first connect pulls the historical window your account allows; subsequent reads only fetch what changed since the last sync, so the load on Wise's side stays modest.
Open Connections > Wise in Well, click Disconnect, then rotate the API key on Wise's side. Well stops calling Wise as soon as you disconnect; rotating the key on the provider's side guarantees Well cannot resume access. The record, owner, and timestamp already synced stay in your workspace until you ask Support to purge them.
Well captures the original currency and the conversion rate Wise applies, then reports both side by side. If you operate in EUR and Wise settles in USD or GBP, the converted line and the raw line both land in the ledger, so reconciliation against the deposit currency works without manual FX math.
