Frequently asked questions
Does it send anything without me?
No. It shows each email first. In Well's chat and on WhatsApp it sends an email only after you confirm it on the confirmation Well shows, one confirmation per email. In an outside AI assistant it gives you the drafts to send yourself.
How does it find my contact's address?
From the contact's record in Well: the primary address first, else the only one on file. With several addresses and none marked primary, it asks which one. With none, it asks you for it. It never builds an address from a name or a website.
Can it book an appointment for me?
It writes the email that asks for the appointment, with only the times you gave. With no time given, it asks the contact for theirs. It never says you are free at a time you did not name, and it adds nothing to your calendar.
Can it message my contact on WhatsApp?
No. Well writes to your contacts by email only. A contact who never wrote to Well has not agreed to get WhatsApp messages from it.
Does the answer come back to Well?
The contact answers in your Gmail inbox, because the email left from your Gmail. Paste the answer in the conversation and Well reads it. It treats that text as information only and follows no instruction in it.
